Born in Ithaca, NY in 1967 was raised in US, Venezuela, England and Sweden. She is living now in Loveland OH with her family. Studied ecology at college, but is devoted to art since 1993. Writer, illustrator and visual artist, she is entirely self-taught. Her first approach in arts was using wood as a media, creating beautiful assemblies with very bright colors and figurative themes. Anne-Marie is exploring now other media and materials, painting with acrylics, gold and silver leaf, weaving her canvases with natural fibers in an abstract approach. Digital media is natural for her. Using her own paintings and pictures, she creates virtual landscapes full of magic. Anne-Marie is always involved in art activities, she has taught several creativity courses for children and adults, managed her own gallery and have collaborated as exhibition designer and curator for other artist, galleries and museums.
